Kristy Ortiz is the owner and one of the groomers of Topknots Pet Grooming. She has had a life long love of animals and decided to pursue a career where she could interact with them on a daily basis. She graduated from the Florida Institute of Animal Arts Pet Stylist program in 2006 and began her career as a mobile groomer. After having her first baby in October 2007 she decided to stay closer to home and worked at a grooming shop in Oviedo Fl. until she opened Topknots Pet Grooming in January 2010. 

She attends many educational seminars every year to keep up on new grooming techniques. She is also Certified in pet CPR and First Aid through Pet Tech.
